Alrighty folks, let's get started!

Now if you don't have a Netflix account, you might want to jump on the train because Netflix is hitting some serious strides with their latest hit show "The Sandman." The Sandman made it's debut on August 5, 2022, So as you see, it's very new. The show is a live-action adaptaion of Neil Gaiman's DC's comic series, which bears the same name, and it's GOOD! It might even be better than I imagined. Just a disclaimer, I have never watched DC's fantansy series; my opinion on the this Netflix series is soley based upon this trailer, the synopsis, and me watching this series. For all of you who are die hard DC fans, I do think you will be impressed with the execution of this series. Before I go any further, let's watch the trailer.

Right from the jump with the pilot episode, Netflix has their audeince fired up and hungry for the next episode. I kid you not, while I was watching the first episode I said to myself, "is this still the pilot episode?" I literally got so lost in this masterpiece. I thought the directors would drag out the plot, you know like how most shows tend to do, but man, it was as if every episode had a different plot. Just when you think you know what will happen next, BAM! The directors catch you off guard. And then just when you least expect it, everything suddenly comes together and begins to make sense.

Also, a huge shout out to the VFX, CGI, just everyone in effects and post production; you all did a marvelous job. The amount of detail the effects crew put into every scenes deserves an award on it's own. Just looking at the amount of times the Vortex (Rose Walker) went into the Dreaming; you can tell the effects crew paid attention to DETAIL! So at this time, let's give the effects crew their flowers and huge round of applause. You all were awesome and your work did not go unnoticed.

What is The Sandman about?

Why should you watch The Sandman?

Today, I'm going to something a little different and not give you all spoilers. This show is pretty new and it honestly deserves the viewership. But I will tell you this, this show is one of the few fanatasy series that has kept me on my toes. This is not hype, this show is actually a PROPER show. You actually have to pay attention; this is not a show you play for background noise.

If you're into fantasy series that aren't limited to vampires and werewolves, check out this show.

I will share my thoughts and opinions on this show in another blog post.

Thanks so much for reading! Stay tuned for part two of this post.
