RANT | Things I Hate on the Road
Hello everyone, welcome to Anything About Everything (AAE). I hope you all are doing well.
I don't have road rage but I do have road annoyances. Boy, do little things bother me on the road. Today I want to talk about some things I can't stand when driving.
#1: TRAILER TRUCKS
Trailers need to have their own desginated lanes on the freeway. Trailers are super scary; moreover they don't move fast enough-on a two lane street, these vehicles easily cause traffic.
A few honorable mentions:
These trailer/trucks ESPECIALLY need their own lane. You can thank 'Final Destination' for my fears.
I also think Ambulances should have their own lanes. Let me elaborate. Instead of ambulances putting on their sirens and having cars split like how Moses split the Red Sea, I think ambulances should have a designated lane in times of emergencies. The cars that driving in that particualr lane must clear out IMMEDIATELY.
#2: SLOW DRIVERS/PEOPLE WHO DON'T MIND THEIR BUSINESS
Slow drivers need to get out of the way. You know when your GPS changes from blue to yellow, or possibly even red? It's usually because of slow driver, and, or people who don't mind their business on the road.
I hate when I'm someone of the road and they decided to drive below the speed limit. Keep in mind, there is no one in front of them, they just decided to hold everyone up. What's worse is when you try to get into the next lane but the other driver is moving just as slow.
"BERTHA PLEASE PUT SOME PEP IN YOUR STEP!"
And then to the folks that don't mind their business. If someone had an accident and you have no help to offer the person, please continue driving. Why must y'all always slow down, whine down your windows, and ask silly questions like,
"Is everything alright?"
NO! Everything is not alright!
Unless you can offer me call AAA, help me fix my car, give me monetary help, etc please go about your day. Stop building up traffic on the road. The accident (at it's worst) may have already lead to some traffic.
#3: The Lightning McQueens
Understand, I can't stand a slow car, but I absolutely will take them over a pseudo McQueen. Those fast drivers can cause an accident in a heartbeat. The crazy part about fast drivers is that even after their cars get totalled they still continue to speed.
CRAZY SPEED + LANE CHANGING is a DANGEROUS COMBO! These people need to be stopped effective immediately.
The PRO MAX/BOSS level of this is: CRAZY SPEED + LANE CHANGING + RUNNING RED LIGHTS...go to jail and swiftly. Especially those that so in neighborhoods.
I need all fast drivers to understand that this is the real world and not Mario Kart. You don't have three lives. Moreover you are not the only one on the road. Become a NASCAR driver that way you can drive crazy without any repercussions.
#4: PETTY FAST
Imagine you're driving and the car in front of you is moving slow so you decide to swich lanes, just as you're about to switch lanes that car in the next lane that moving slow decides to speed up...
Why are you being so petty right now? The rntire time you moving slow. Why is not that I want to briefly enter your lane, you remember your gas petal? What type of foolery is that?
CONCLUSION
