RANT | Things I Hate on the Road-Part 2
Hi there!
I hope you're doing well.
In part one of this post, I talked about trailers/trucks, slow drivers, fast drivers, etc. I hope you all enjoyed that post by the way. If you didn't get a chance to read part 1? Here I'll link it below.
Just when you thought I couldn't possibly have more to say, here I come with a part two. Let's get into it!
#1: BETRAYING YOUR LANE
This is one is more so embarrassing. You when your lane is moving slow, so then you move to the next lane and then your original lane starts to move fast...that is different type of pain; especially if you waited patiently.
#2: PEOPLE THAT MOSEY ON DOWN
SCENARIO: Let's say that you're leaving a gas station. You're trying to get back on the main road. You want to go but you laos have to time to speed of the car(s) that are coming. Imagine a herd of cars are coming but there is a huge gap between the oncoming herd and three cars are sporatically moving ahead of said herd. Why is there always a car that manages to simultaneously move too fast and too slow at the same time?
I am trying to get into the road before the big wave comes and you slowing down my progress. Please, pick a side. Decided to move faster or slower.
#3: PEOPLE WHO TAKE FOREVER TO PARK/BACK OUT
We are at the mall...ok? If you're leaving, please leave. Stop this whole thing of getting in the car and lollygagging for 10 minutes before backing out. The mall is already packed enough. Get in and get out.
#4: CONES
I appreciate all of the road construction workers but come on now...do y'all really need to close off three lanes to fix on pot hole?
And don't even get me started on how y'all can be fixing a road for an entire decade. Why do y'all work during the day when there is busy traffic? Wouldn't it be better to work at night when most people are off of the road? These are rhetorical questions by the way. I understand why y'all work during the day and I appreciate you all for your hard work. I just wish that wasn't the case.
#5: MECHANIC SHOPS THAT BUILD THEIR BUSINESS OFF THE SIDE OF THE ROAD
Why don't yall build your mechanic shops on actual lots with proper space for cars to come in/out. And then y'all have the triler trucks/tow trucks stop in the middle of the road to unload cars...this add to traffic and can be unsafe for both your customers and those that are already on the road.
Again, I appreciate mechanics of the world. Your work is important. I just wish some of y'all would set up your shops in places with adequate space for cars to come in and out without interrupting traffic.
#6: LOUD VEHICLES
You car that meant for everyday use needs to be loud. I hate when people have cars that make that "vroom vroom" all throughout the duration of the car ride.
Please...you drive a toyota, why does your car sound like a race car? If you were driving a dodge charger I would understand, and even then, those cars aren't as loud.
THANKS FOR READING!
Alright folks, that all for this very short series. I hope you all enjoyed this installment. Have wonderful week and stay safe on the road. Thank you for reading!
