Who is ready for Season 3 of Bridgerton?

As you can probably tell by the title of this post, I am super excited for season 3 of Bridgerton; mainly because Penelope and Colin's relationship has been building up since season 1. I'm fairly interested to see how things play out in this season. Will Lady Whistledown finally become the diamond of the season?

Let's talk about how these sneak peak's made me feel

In this clip, you can see Penelope pining for Colin. This is isn't out of character for Pen because she's been doing this since day one. What makes this scene seem different is that they Colin may have finally caught on to the possibly of Pen, his longtime best friend, being in love with him.

I really appreciate how Colin looks embarrassed, in a good way, in this clip.

In clip 2, we see a frustrated Penelope. As this is Pen's third year, in search of a spouse, she is hurts by a comment Colin made at a previous time. Although Penelope is clearly upset, it appears that she may have misunderstood Colins previous statement about "never wanting to court Penelope Featherington." YOu can tell by looking at his facial expression that there was so much more that he wanted to say.

The way I see it, here are the ways this season can go from a romantic standpoint:

1. Colin tells Penelope that he has always been in love with her but he didn't want to ruin their friendship.
2. Penelope gets courted by someone else, randomly, and Colin get's jealous and realizes he's been in love with her the entire time but didn't realize it until someone else came into the picture.
3. Because of how Penelope confronts Colin in clip #2, Pen decides to give up on Colin. Colin then begins to fall for Penelope.

Other Speculations About Bridgerton Season 3?

Aside from the potential best friends to lover trope, I am concerned for Penelope as a person. Now that Pen has been discovered as Lady Whistledown by her good friend, and potential new sister-in-law, Eloise Bridgerton, what does that mean for their frienship?

Will Eloise betray Penelope in order to show allegiance to the crown?

Will Queen Charlotte learn that Penelope publishes under alias, the Lady Whistledown, herself?

Should Penelope be found out, what would things look like for 'Polin'?

The Featherington's are no longer wealthy. In fact they are ruined. How will the Featherington’s family status, affect Pen's ability to find a suitor?

I love the Brigerton collection. Every couple tops the previous season's couple. I can't wait to see how the Polin love story unfolds. I truly hope Pen is able to find love whilst avoiding being apprehended by the queen's guard.
